2011 Union Hotel

I have admired the look of this building since the first time I seen it in the May/June 1989 Narrow Gauge Gazette. It was featured in Part  56 of  "Up Clear Creek on The Narrow Gauge" by Harry Brunk. It took quite a while, but I finally got around to it, with Harry's permission of course. I tried to maintain the "feel" of his design. I did increase the foot print slightly and added another row of windows. I considered doing it as a typical red brick building but part of the allure was the sketch of the Hotel in the article. The yellow and brick red trim was an incredible look, so I stuck to that color scheme. Everything you see is included in the kit, even the sidewalks. Hope you like it as much as I do.
