Kit #1 1994
"the FAB SHOP"

This is the one that started it. Designed and manufactured with the help of Phil Hodges . You "Gazette" readers will remember Phil from the "SN3 co-op" articles we worked on together.

This kit was first released at the 1994 Narrow Gauge convention in Denver and sold out almost immediately. Today this is a very sought after kit.
SOLD OUT

Kit #2 1995
"the MILL"

The second kit  was released at the  Valley Forge, Pa. 1995 Narrow Gauge convention. The name "the MILL" as well as the design itself came from a painting I had seen which depicted a New England grist mill.
SOLD OUT

Kit #3 1996
"the CAR SHOP"

Released in 1996 at the Narrow Gauge convention in Durango. This kit was designed to be similar to Kit #1 to accommodate those who were not able to acquire Kit #1, and as a complimentary structure for those who did.
SOLD OUT

Kit #4  1997
"STONEY CREEK SHEET METAL"
Released in 1997 at the Narrow Gauge convention in Cincinnati, Ohio. I tried something different with this kit. I realized that most modelers might prefer their building to say something other than Stoney Creek Sheet metal. So, I made a custom cut vinyl stencil available as an option to the kit. This proved to be very popular.
SOLD OUT

Kit #5 1998
"the BARN"

Released in 1998 at the Colorado Springs Narrow Gauge convention.   This kit is modeled after an old barn near my house here in Pennsylvania. This was the first kit  that included laser cut wood parts.
SOLD OUT

Kit #6  1999
"INDIAN TRAILS GARAGE"

Released in  Portland, OR. at the 1999  Narrow Gauge convention.   Based partly on a building in Idaho Springs, Co. and a garage in Oklahoma.  This was my first laser cut kit, making for a clean, sharp, easy to assemble kit. Custom signs were also available. A form was included with the kit  which could be filled out, allowing you to personalize the window and the roof sign.
SOLD OUT

Kit #7 2000
 "GRANDVIEW GARAGE"
Released in 2000 at the St. Louis Narrow Gauge convention.   Based  on a structure at MGM Studios Florida. That's right, visit MGM Studios, go to "MUPPETS 4D" and you'll see the inspiration for this kit. Custom signs were also available for this kit.
SOLD OUT

Kit #8  2001
"B&M MACHINE SALES"
Released in 2001 at the Salt Lake City Narrow Gauge convention.   Based  on a number of structures  around the Idaho Springs area of Colorado.
SOLD OUT

Kit #10 2003
"B.Johnson Leather Works"
Released in 2003 at the Denver Narrow Gauge convention.  It's shaping up to be the most popular kit that I've produced, due in large part to the design and stone work which were both done by my friend Phil Hodges. Good job, Phil!
SOLD OUT

Kit #9 2002 "A Block of Buildings"
Released at the 2002 NG Convention in Rhode Island.
Based  on a block of structures  in Black Hawk.

Kit #12 2004
 "ACME Dynamite"
Based on a model from the early 70's that appeared in Model Railroading magazine.  This was the first year that I produced two kits in the same year.
SOLD OUT

Kit #13 2005
 "WILLS Saddlery & Leather Goods"

Kit #14 2005
 "Village Groceries and Dry Goods"
Released in 2005 at the NG Convention in Detroit. Based on plans in an early Model Railroader (1973  I think). Original is in Wasco Illinois. A version was also built by Greenberg and Nash that appeared in the Gazette.
SOLD OUT

Kit #15, 16, 17 & 18 2006
"Assay Office,  Bakery and Post Office"

Released in 2006 at the NG Convention in Durango.
Inspiration for the Assay office came from plans I had seen by Al Armitage. The Bakery is similar to a store in Silver Plume CO and a number of other small stores of the era. The Newspaper is based on the original old newspaper building in Crested Butte, Co. Each kit was available separately OR as a three pack. When purchased as a set (Kit#18), a bonus shed was included.
SOLD OUT
