This little jig was developed when I was finishing one of my Gondolas. The wheels, as they come, are way too shiny. Holding the wheel sets, spraying and then cleaning the tread seem unnecessarily time consuming and messy. As you can see this fixture makes the whole process a snap.

ROOFING PAPER   This is my own make roofing paper. It has a very slight texture to it. Just enough to be realistic...surface is applied to black paper making weathering very realistic.
